Sailors will be introduced to an Intermediate level of Sailing, learning to operate a third sail (the Spinnaker) on the RS Quest Dinghy, and introduced to competitive racing tactics and strategy.
This course prepares sailors for Off the Beach Club Racing in Dinghies and Catamarans,

What's Next?
On completion, Sailors are encouraged to join a Keelboat Crewing and Helming Course on the Melges 24 and Blazer 23 to gain Inshore Keelboat skills. Mastering the foundational skills—safety, wind and water awareness, sail theory, small boat mechanics and skippering, race strategy and tactics, inshore navigation, and keelboat crewing—builds your competence, confidence, and competitiveness as a crew member aboard Members’ boats in Twilight, Inshore, and Offshore Division racing (start racing today with a Sail Pass).
