Your Sailing Journey Starts Here

This course is designed to take you from complete beginner to confident dinghy sailor in just three weeks.

You’ll learn to sail an RS Quest dinghy, developing the skills to rig, launch, sail, recover from a capsize, and confidently handle the boat on your own.

Yes — you will capsize on the first day.
Yes — you will get wet.
And yes — that’s part of the fun.

What is a Sail Dinghy?

A sail dinghy is a small, highly responsive sailing boat used for recreation and racing.

Most dinghies are sailed solo, though some can carry a small crew. During this course, you’ll progressively build the skills to handle the boat independently.
